Blog #2

For this week there was only so much I could do! I have a phone meeting set up for tomorrow with Elise (the CEO of Paradox) which is really exciting. I plan on talking to her about what she will need from me and my requirements for the project to see if it will be a good fit. I also have a list of questions that I am going to ask her at the end of the interview so I can learn a little bit more about her and her brand to make sure that I want to support her and her company. Over president's week, I think it would be wise to start thinking about what I want my final product to be, and I also think it would be helpful to kind of organize my time and my internship hours in order for me to know what I'm in for in the coming weeks. I don't have too many conflicts... but I would say babysitting will be hard to manage, staying in shape and making sure I have time to be active which helps me stay focused, and making sure on days where it's more relaxed that I use my time wis...

ROUGH THOUGHTS I have lots of different ideas for what I want to do, but, I want to make sure that I am finding an internship that will be very exciting, fulfilling, and hopefully beneficial to my future. I also want to have a project that I am REALLY excited about so that’s why I am going to be very picky about the decisions I make - just a heads up. I found this woman named Elise Gabriel based out of LA and SF, and she is basically everything that I want to be. She runs a very successful fashion/lifestyle/beauty/wellness blog and she is the CEO of her brand new organic skincare company called ‘Paradox’. I have been in contact with her and am hoping to land an internship with her/at her company because I am thinking about creating my own mini organic skincare line for my project to dip my feet in the water of this field!
